Good questions.

Here are a few answers.

Who is EssayGuide for?

Students in Malaysia who want to feel more confident writing in Bahasa Melayu, English and Mandarin. Study essay structure and vocabulary, then put those ideas into your own words.

Is it free?

EssayGuide is free to download. The new learning experience includes two free lesson starts per day, refilling at local midnight. Wrong answers do not cost hearts, and reading and Short Notes do not use them. Pro has unlimited lesson starts; some study tools also require Pro. Check the app for current prices and release availability.

Do I have to watch ads to keep learning?

No. In eligible iOS versions of the new experience, you can choose to finish a rewarded ad for one extra lesson-start heart after using your free allowance, up to once per account per day. You can also wait for the next free daily refill. Pro removes ads and has unlimited lesson starts. Ads do not award XP, coins or league positions, and may not always be available.

How do illustrated Peribahasa lessons work?

The new collection teaches 100 Bahasa Melayu proverbs through notebook-style drawings, meanings explained in Bahasa Melayu, English or Mandarin, and examples of essay use. Discover lessons introduce each phrase; review rounds add situations, meaning questions and deliberate mistakes to identify. Questions remain in Bahasa Melayu for exam practice.

Can I read an essay before downloading?

Yes. This website has real, credited extracts from the app’s library. Choose a language and open an extract. The full reading experience is in the app.

Is the new roadmap available yet?

The roadmap, Ali animations and practice experience shown here preview the next EssayGuide direction. Your app store version may differ. We’ll share release news when the update is ready.

Can I change the explanation language?

The new BM roadmap starts with English explanations. You can choose Bahasa Melayu or Mandarin, and that choice is remembered on your device. Explanations, notes and supported controls follow your choice; BM questions and answer choices remain in Bahasa Melayu for exam practice. English and Mandarin essay collections are available; their guided roadmaps are still being prepared.

Will my saved reading carry across devices?

In the new experience, use the same account to sync supported favourites, highlights, word history and learning progress. Guest data stays on your device until you sign in. Some features depend on your app version.

Can I contribute an essay or share feedback?

Submit your original writing through the app, or email us with feedback. Get permission before sharing anyone else’s work or personal information.
